Meatloaf Montag

Dear Diary,
It’s been a looooooong Monday! I am very, very tired of my teacher, Ms. Tacoshell. She always talks to me with her stinky breath! Nothing exciting happened at school today…I took the bus this morning to school (as usual) and sat next to my bus buddies, drew, stokes, and louise. They talked about how fun their weekends were. Drew went fishing at Lake Salsa with his cousins and grandpa while stokes went camping with his boy scout troop, and louise had a sleepover at the aquarium. And what did I do this weekend? I stayed at Watershed Heights with grammy from Friday to Sunday. BORING!!! I can’t wait to be old enough to drive and get far, far, far away from this dump. I just can’t wait! And did I tell you that as soon as I got off the school bus today, I had to head to see Ms Pigg for my weekly sousaphone lesson? I really actually like the sousaphone (believe it or not!). Ms. Pigg is really a bore though. Sometimes, if I play well, she allows me to watch tv. However, not today because of the bad storm we had last night; it turned off her cable. I guess I will stop writing now. Grammy is calling me in for dinner; it’s Meatloaf Monday. GROSS!!!

Get the Door!

Dear Dairy,
I just hate, hate, hate living here in this old, dirty, apartment…I don’t much like the stale smell of grammy’s month old sunflower seed bread, her daily morning dosage of cream of wheat with raisins, or her nasty denture paste. YUCK! Its hard living with grammy, but she says that “it’s only temporary…”But IDK…It seems like it has been a long time... Life is hard.
School has been ok. As you already know, my BFF is Jill, but she has been kind of annoying lately…I don’t know what her problem is but whatever it is she needs to cut it out- pronto! I am so ready for summer to start! My grammy says she is going to send me off to go to bible camp with Jill in June; that sounds so fun. NOT! I don’t even know how to find stuff in the bible much less spend a whole week solely studying it. But Jill really wants me to join her at camp, and it will be my first time going to sleep away camp so it may be fun…maybe it will be like the “Parent Trap” movie with the twins with the red hair, and I will finally meet my twin sister and meet my mom and my dad and then find out I am actually supposed to be living in Napa, California or London and, and…maybe I am getting a little ahead of myself but yeah maybe…who knows what can happen at church camp? So maybe I will just have to try it out…
Oh sorry got to go, Dairy! Someone is knocking at the door.
“GRAMMY!!!” i yell at the top of my little lungs. “GET THE DOOR!!!”
Oh well, grammy, as you already know, is too deaf to hear…
